What to Expect

Wondering what actually happens at a naturopathy appointment? Here's a general pathway outline, from your first consult through to ongoing checkups, so you know exactly what to expect at every step.

Once your appointment is confirmed, you’ll receive a health questionnaire and food diary to complete before your consultation.

If you have any recent blood tests, pathology reports or other investigations from the past two years, please email them through or bring them with you. This helps us make the most of your appointment time.

Adults: 60–75 minutes | Children: 30–45 minutes | Fertility Couples: 60–75 minutes

Your first consultation is all about understanding the bigger picture. We’ll discuss your current symptoms, health history, diet, lifestyle, medications and supplements, and complete a thorough review of your body systems. We’ll also review any previous pathology or functional testing.

By the end of your appointment, you’ll receive personalised dietary and lifestyle recommendations, an individualised treatment plan, and guidance on any additional blood tests or functional testing that may help uncover the underlying causes of your health concerns.

Following your initial consultation, we’ll work with you to put your plan into action.

 Depending on your needs, your personalised treatment plan may include nutritional support, herbal medicine, dietary changes, lifestyle recommendations and targeted supplementation.

Your plan is tailored specifically to your health goals and is designed to be practical, achievable and sustainable.

Follow-up consultations allow us to review your progress, discuss any test results, refine your treatment plan and provide ongoing support as your health improves.

Appointments are generally more frequent in the early stages of treatment before gradually spacing out as your symptoms improve and your health goals are achieved.

Please note: Consultation fees are based on the time spent during your appointment, so you only pay for the care you need. Online consultations are available, with Wednesdays dedicated to phone and telehealth appointments.
